Spaceflare Cloud · hosted by us
Spaceflare Cloud is a cloud drive for large files. Videos, projects and huge folders open on demand: it reads only the piece you need instead of downloading everything. We host it, so you never run a server.

How it works
Use your email: we send a 6-digit code, and you can add a passkey later. There is no password to keep. Then pick the space you need.
From the browser, with chunked uploads that resume where they stopped if the connection drops. People without an account can also send files to you through an upload link.
Reads are by range: Spaceflare fetches only the slice of the file that was asked for. Video and audio play without downloading the whole file.
Features
What your account includes, on the web. The native apps follow.
The server returns only the range of bytes the app asks for. That is what lets a video of several gigabytes start playing without waiting for the full download.
One subscription, several spaces: you split the total between your personal space and your team spaces, and change the split whenever you like.
Only space counts, not the number of people. Each person joins as an administrator, a member or a guest (who can only read).
Share with a password, an expiry date and a download limit. Or receive files from anyone into one of your folders, without them needing an account.
Find files and folders by name across the whole space, without opening folder after folder.
What you delete stays in the trash for 30 days and can come back. While it is there, it still takes up space. After that, it is removed for good.
No password to leak. You can see the sessions and devices with access to your account and end or revoke any of them.
Optional. You bring a key from a provider such as OpenRouter and set a monthly spending cap. AI is not part of the plan.
It works in the browser and installs on iPhone as an app. The native apps for Mac and iPhone are on the way.

You can withdraw within 7 days of subscribing and get back what you paid (Terms of use, section 6, in Portuguese). Currency conversion and fees from your bank or card issuer are not part of the price; taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout (Terms of use, section 4, in Portuguese).
Besides the space, there are technical usage limits per account (for example, up to 500,000 files and folders): see the Terms of use, section 14, in Portuguese.
Apps
Open app.spaceflare.app in any modern browser. On iPhone, install it as an app: in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The app is in Portuguese for now.
Your files show up in Finder and only take up disk space when you open them (macOS 15 or newer). The app signs in to your Spaceflare Cloud account and also works with your own server, in the open-source project. Version 0.2.0, signed and notarized by Apple (4.1 MB).
The iPhone app is in preparation. It will be free and will only sign in to accounts that already exist: it sells nothing and shows no prices. You subscribe here on the website. Until then, use the web app as an app.
FAQ
On Cloudflare. Files live in its object storage (R2), and account data such as your email, spaces and subscription lives in its database (D1). It is a global infrastructure, which involves international data transfer. The details are in the Privacy policy (Portuguese only).
You, and the people you invite to a space or give a link to. Files are not end-to-end encrypted: whoever operates the service can technically reach them. That is why staff access is restricted: support only opens an account in a read-only session of up to 30 minutes, and everything is logged.
The Privacy policy (Portuguese only) explains when and how this happens.
Yes. Besides the space in your plan, there are technical limits. Adding up all the spaces in an account: up to 500,000 files and folders (1,000,000 on plans of 5 TB or more), 5,000 active links and 16 chunked uploads open at the same time. These limits can change; the current list is in the Terms of use, section 14 (Portuguese only).

We email you at the start and near the end of that period. If you subscribe again in that time, the account goes back to normal. After the period ends, the files may be deleted.
Stripe tries to charge again, and you can keep uploading files for up to 7 days. If the payment is not resolved by then, the account becomes read-only, as with a cancellation. We notify you by email.
